DCCCA views leadership as an activity, not a person, and we strive to create a company-wide culture of leadership. In 2015 DCCCA formed a partnership with the Kansas Leadership Center under the shared philosophy that “Anyone can lead. Anytime. Anywhere.”
The Kansas Leadership Center’s program, Your Leadership Edge, was implemented at DCCCA offering staff in-person experiences and web-based leadership tools. This allows staff to develop and grow their experience at DCCCA, enhancing the company culture of collaboration. With this support from the Kansas Leadership Center we have begun to implement an internal leadership program that reaches all of our different employees across the agency whether they are administration, managers, or direct service providers.
We believe that empowering and developing leadership within our company will develop a positive, forward moving environment that will lead to stronger programs and service delivery, and employees who are dedicated to working together to achieve common goals.
