Creating programs that serve our communities is important. We believe it is even more important to ensure our programs are having a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their communities. We are constantly learning about our work and strive to do it even better.
DCCCA uses various metrics and benchmark information in each program to measure success and effectiveness. We determine appropriate and measureable outcomes used to improve the quality of the services we provide. Measures and goals are developed and assessed through the collaborative efforts of individual agency programs and DCCCA’s Quality Improvement department. Using a data-driven approach, we believe there is always room for improving our programs and operations.
Not only do we measure and analyze the success of our own programs and operations, the DCCCA Quality Improvement and Evaluation team assists in data analysis for the Kansas Highway Safety Plan (HSP) and provides technical support for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department. We also assist the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office (KTSRO) in evaluating the effectiveness of “Seatbelts Are For Everyone” (SAFE), a multi-state program created by DCCCA that increases safety belt use among high school students.
