DCCCA’s Recovery Today Fund has been created to support our clients working to create a stable, healthy life in recovery.
Recovery from substance abuse is associated with dramatic improvements in all areas of life, including a healthier financial and family life, higher civic engagement, dramatic decreases in public health service use and safety risks, and significant increases in employment and work productivity.
Beginning a life in recovery often means addressing tangible barriers that were products of chronic substance abuse.  The work associated with entering life in recovery is difficult and creating a stable foundation outside of treatment can seem impossible when late utility payments, evictions, and lack of transportation are immediate problems to be addressed with limited financial resources available.
Your donation to the Recovery Today Fund will help clients in DCCCA treatment programs overcome barriers like these, supporting their transition into a stable, healthy life in recovery. The donation was founded in September, 2018 in correlation with National Recovery Month celebrations.
Donors can choose to receive periodic updates on the impact of their donation and this fund; impact stories will also be shared periodically on the DCCCA website.
We appreciate your interest in the Recovery Today Fund and in our commitment to Improving Lives.
