Improving Lives…Close to Home will support women in recovery and their children in Douglas County. In a ten-unit transitional housing community designed for women and their children, clients will continue to work on education and explore employment options. At the same time, they will be able to receive treatment at DCCCA, ongoing support and access to childcare. Duplexes will be limited to Douglas County residents, but this project has the potential to become a model for recovery services provided across the state.
