CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training blended course: online prework and in-person training

Location: 6900 Squibb Road Mission, Kansas

The purpose of this training is to build knowledge and skills needed to recognize crisis behaviors. This training focuses on crisis situations from the perspectives of both the person in distress and those providing support. Throughout the training, participants will gain tools to help manage emotional responses and better identify escalating behaviors. Participants will learn key concepts through the online self-paced pre-work before coming into the training room for in-person learning and practice.
