April is a busy month at DCCCA!  Child Abuse Prevention Month, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Distracted Driving Awareness Month and Work Zone Awareness Week are all wrapped up in these 30 days!

Here are some of the activities DCCCA will be involved with this month:

3rd – 5th Transportation Safety Conference (Wichita): KTSRO staff will be attending and presenting at this conference

2nd – 5th National Council on Behavioral Health National Conference(Seattle): Erick Vaughn, Deidra Johnson, and Trenton Garber will be attending.

3rd – 9th: Work Zone Awareness Week

7th: Wear Blue for Child Abuse Prevention!

7th: CPA Hosts “Empowered to Connect” Simulcast Conference in Lawrence

12th: Chipotle Fundraiser for CPA in Wichita

17th – 20th: National RX & Heroin Summit: Krista Machado and Karin Leimbach will be attending

20th: Foster Family Recruitment Event in Oklahoma: OK CPA will be hosting multiple recruitment events around the state this Thursday and we will be sharing them “Facebook Live” at multiple times throughout the day so you can follow along!

We will be sharing live and in-review from these events on social media and the DCCCA website as well as sharing information to educate about how DCCCA is a part of all of this national awareness work.
