DCCCA has facilitated a variety of meetings and strategic planning sessions for a wide range of organizations. We use Technology of Participation (ToP) methods including consensus workshops, focused conversations, and action planning as our primary engagement tools. The ToP methods ensure that all voices can be heard and provides an environment where differing opinions can be discussed with respect.
Additionally, we utilize the Kansas Leadership Center competencies and principles to make progress on difficult challenges. We implement components of this framework to support meeting facilitation and strategic planning work to help organizations make progress on things that are most important to them.
Our team also has extensive training in navigating virtual meetings and strategic planning sessions utilizing online tools. We have identified several best practices for engaging participants in a virtual environment to ensure maximum participation and comfort of participants.
